Dave Dobson is well known for his O.T.C.C. (Other-Than-Conscious Communication™) and No Fault Psychology™ He was a very effective and legendary Psychologist and Clinical Hypnotherapist, who will be greatly missed since his passing on 22 February, 2008.
It is important to realize that Dave created on his own the intellectual property of Neither I nor anyone else helped him create or develop it. He came up with these concepts and terms in the early 1970s.
Please note that there are not now and never have been any co-creators or co-developers of Other-Than-Conscious Communication™ or No Fault Psychology™. It is his creation alone. Along with many others, I was a
student of Dave's. There are NO co-developers or co-creators of Other-Than-Conscious Communication™ or No Fault Psychology™.
It is his legacy and I, Barb Stepp, his life partner, heir and designated keeper of his life's work, am guarding it carefully. He was very ill for many years and did not have the energy to deal with all the plagiarism and theft of his life's work. He he prepared me to do so... preserve, guard and publish his work and his book, Mythical Kingdoms of the Mind. I fully intend to do this.
There have been books, tapes and videos by many, unauthorized by him, on his work. It is interesting that most of them don't give their teacher, David Dobson, Phd, any credit or honors for his work. Instead, they give the impression that they created it themselves. That is unfortunate and dishonorable, and they have to live with themselves. We who have worked with him for many years know the truth and are loyal to his memory and original work.
I am in the process of archiving Dave's 40 years of work in the written, audio and video form. Some of his work is already available on our store.
As we continue to archive, we will also be producing much of his original work.

Dave came from a background that includes both business, a private practice of Clinical Hypnotherapy, and psychotherapy that spanned more than 45 years in Los Angeles and the west coast.
His business background includes: owner and manager of a highly successful executive search firm, and division manager and director of sales for an international plastics company, with a sales force of over 200 people.
These experiences and his need to find models of communication that work led him to the development of concepts that he calls "Other Than Conscious Communication™" which is an outgrowth of his model of psychology that he calls "No Fault Psychology™."
Since his move to the San Juan Islands in 1977, he has traveled well over a million miles conducting seminars and trainings throughout North America and Europe, and his concepts which transcend traditional communication and psychological models have become highly respected tools for personal growth both in the mental health fields and the corporate community.
