It's been 2 weeks since my knee replacement surgery. I listened to the Beach tapes for a couple of weeks before my surgery and I chose the word perfect to describe what I wanted—perfect surgery, perfect recovery, perfectly positive experience.
I used my NLP the night before surgery and went into it perfectly calm and relaxed (not like me since I like to be in control) and when I was uncomfortable in the few days after surgery and I needed to relax I got out the Beach. It really helped me relax that leg.
I am now just using a cane—even though they told me that I'd be 4 to 6 weeks on crutches and am doing great! By the way, when the doctor came in the day after surgery, he told me that the surgery went great and my knee was perfect! I was shocked when he used that word.
Anyway, just thought I'd share this incredible experience, and it makes me wonder why all school children aren't taught NLP when they are 5 years old. What a skill!
